Terms & Conditions

(please read carefully)

By paying a 50% non refundable deposit for any market dates, you agree to our terms and conditions.

Our Terms and Conditions can be amended at any time. Please contact The Summer x Salt Markets directly for the market full terms and conditions, approved by all vendors at the time of becoming a stall. Email [email protected].

We will notify you in writing of any changes to the Terms and Conditions by email, on our website or otherwise in writing.

Payment Conditions : 

Stall holder fees are set as per below (including GST), per market.

  • Retail Vendor 3x3m – $143
  • Food & Drink – $187
  • Non for Profit – $68

A one-off $33 new applicant fee applies for all new applicants. This will be automatically deducted after you have secured your market dates and covers the additional cost of establishing a new retailer file.

The remaining 50% of your stall fee is due 4 weeks before each market event date. Your space will be reallocated if not secured with a final payment on the due date.

Stalls fees may not be shared or transferred unless communicated and authorised by the Event Manager of Summer x Salt Markets. 

Any fees associated with insufficient funds in the account debited on the due date will be the responsibility of the stall holder, and not The Summer x Salt Markets, or Stripe. 

Cancellations received within four (4) weeks or less, prior to the specified market date for which you have been accepted, are non-refundable. The deposit is non refundable. Should you have any issues with payment, please communicate this with us immediately by email [email protected]. 


Automatic Direct Debit Terms of Payment

Your contract with SALTY EVENTS PTY LTD (59 643 797 853), Trading as the ‘SUMMER x SALT Markets.’

I agree to pay the ‘Summer x Salt Markets’ the remaining 50% of my stall stall fees 28 days (4 weeks) prior to each individual event date confirmed, via my authorized automatic credit card.

a) I agree to pay for my market fee’s, at the amount specified on the Terms and Conditions sent to me in my Market ‘offer’, as an automatic charge to my credit card each 28 days prior to the event, for the minimum contract period (market dates) specified.

b) I hereby certify that I am the credit card holder detailed overleaf.

c) I authorize Acuity Scheduling and Stripe (our nominated third party payment providers) to make a payment debit on behalf of the ‘Summer x Salt Markets,’ from my nominated bank account on the due date (28 days prior to each individual market date).

It is the holder’s responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available in their nominated bank account or credit card to cover the applicable fees. If there are insufficient funds I agree that Stripe and the ‘Summer x Salt Markets’ will not be held responsible for any fees and charges that may be charged by my financial institution.

e) I understand that I will be notified by email or phone if my credit card payments fail to authorize for any reason.

f) I understand that the ‘Summer x Salt Markets’ will attempt to recharge my credit card after 24 hours from the default date, unless I contact either Stripe or Summer x Salt to provide alternative payment details.

g) I understand that a $17.50 fee will apply if I do not provide a valid credit card within 4 calendar days of the original default date.

h) I understand that my market date will be reallocated if my account becomes more than 7 calendar days late of payment due date (21 days prior to the market date).

Please note your credit/debit card statement will show “SUMMER X SALT” for all market payments and this will indicate your payment to SALTY EVENTS PTY LTD (59 643 797 853), Trading as the ‘SUMMER x SALT Markets.’

By agreeing to these terms, the holder agrees to the terms and conditions of our third party biller, currently Acuity and Stripe.

The Summer x Salt Markets complies with the Privacy Act. If you wish to request access to your personal information, correct or update your details or raise any privacy concerns you may have, please contact us at [email protected]

The Summer x Salt Markets uses a third party software provider known as Acuity Scheduling. In order to create a stall holder account and book into a market, your personal information will be provided to the proprietor of Acuity Scheduling. The collection and use of personal information by Acuity Scheduling is governed by Acuity Scheduling’s privacy policy, which can be provided upon request.


Our Liability

The Summer x Salt Markets and its Representatives will not be liable and excludes all liability under these Terms and Conditions or in any other way for all injury, illness, damage or loss of any kind whatsoever directly or indirectly sustained by you in relation to participating in any Market event. You herby agree to release The Summer x Salt Markets and its Representatives from all claims for loss or damage arising in connection with or in relation to a ‘Summer x Salt’ event during 2023/ 2024.
