Are you an emerging musician between the ages of 12-25 with a passion for sharing your music? Weβre looking for talented young artists to bring their salty tunes to our markets. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or do both, this is your chance to showcase your talent and connect with a vibrant, supportive audience.
At Summer X Salt, weβre deeply committed to supporting young and emerging musicians, helping them gain the experience and confidence to perform in front of large audiences. Our markets have served as a launch pad for talented artists, including Australian Idol singers Sam McGovern and Angelina Curtis, as well as the now internationally touring Mitch Santiago. Weβre proud to play a role in fostering the next generation of musical talent.
Our busking slots are 1 hour long, running on the hour from 8am to 1pm, giving you the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere of our markets. We favour acoustic folk styles that complement our chilled market vibes.
If youβre selected, youβll be notified two weeks before the market date, and weβll provide a full PA setup, so you can focus on what you do best-making music.
